He initiated reform and laying foundations of solid eastern roman empire for centuries to come. Promoting the hellenic culture and strenghtening eastern Christianity. Although Heraclius came from armenian background, His policy of grecification, solidify roman rule in easten mediterranea but strained relationship with his latin subject in the western provinces and semitic subject in the middle east.
