James M. Lindsay: America Alone: The Consequences of an America First Foreign Policy
President Donald Trump is abandoning the leadership of the postwar order America created and has walked away from major international agreements, including the TransPacific Partnership, the Paris Agreement, and the Iran nuclear deal. Dr. James M. Lindsay, senior vice president, director of studies, and Maurice R. Greenberg chair at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), will join us to discuss what it means for America to seek to beat rather than lead its friends and allies. Dr. Lindsay has written widely on the American foreign policymaking process and the domestic politics of American foreign policy.
