Independent MP Derek Sloan speaks with reporters on Parliament Hill to discuss his opposition to Bill C6, the federal government s legislation to ban conversion therapy in Canada. The bill would amend the Criminal Code to ban the widely discredited practice of attempting to change a persons sexual orientation or gender identity using psychological or spiritual interventions.
