The most common Muslim view of Quran 4:157158 is substitution theory (the theory that Allah miraculously substituted someone else for Jesus, and that this other person was crucified in Jesus place). However, the Quran doesnt actually say anything about this substitution, as it comes from later commentaries. If we let the Quran speak for itself, a number of views become possible, including the Christian view that God raised Jesus from the dead David Wood and the Apostate Prophet discuss the issue.
