Lucust French s Solo debut album under the moniker LAZER BEAM stands tall alongside other desert rock legends like Kyuss, Qotsa, Brant Bjork and many others. Hailing from Jerome, Arizona, the wickedest town in the west, Lucust started playing in a band with his dad called Burn Thee Insects. After a year of leading the band he was unhappy with the direction, so he compiled his favorite music he had written over the years between bands, got together with producer Chris Hughes in Tempe, Arizona and put together the full album which was recorded and produced in just 2 days by Lucust and Chris alone.
