System 56 Through Other Eyes

One of the best bands to come out of Cleveland in the 80 s, System 56 recorded this song for an EP released in 1982 called Beyond the Band leader Steve Simenic graciously allowed me to use it as the soundtrack for a film school production 27 years ago. When I recently discovered Steve had remastered the band s vinyl output and put together a CD called Retrospective: 19821984, I thought it would be fun to dust off the 16mm film, recut it, and offer it to the band as the music video they never had.
