Aaliyahs Final Public Television Interview, August 21, 2001, BETs 106 Park

August 21, 2001, Aaliyah makes her last television appearance on BET s 106 Park to give away the grand prize of her Get Paid in the Escalade Contest. Every day for a month, an audience member received a one thousand dollar cash prize, and was entered to win the grand prize of twenty thousand dollars in cash, and a black 2002 Cadillac Escalade SUV. Aaliyah discusses her career, recent album, favourite music videos she s done, how she s never owned a car and her upcoming music video for Rock the Boat (which began production the next day).
