Ocean County Lakewood New Jersey Third Alarm Commercial Structure Fire 133 Ocean Ave. Around 4:08 PM Lakewood Police received a phone call for a working structure fire at 133 Ocean Ave, called in by an offduty LPD Officer. The BOX was quickly upgraded to a WSF due to the amount of calls and the offduty officer confirming a working fire. First due L5 E5 sized it up as a working structure fire in the old wood yard off Ocean Ave. C1 quickly arrived on the scene and took command. E5 started to stretch a 2. 5 to get water on the fire, intense fire conditions and smoke were showing from the large vacant building. C1 quickly upgraded it to the second alarm at this point to bring in mutual aid for the township. C1 called for defensive fire ops due to the fire load inside the building.
