Precious Wilson La Mama: Funky Fingers ( Full Album, Expanded Version) 1983

Precious Wilson s third and final album for Hansa was a lowkey affair that came and went without much notice and no promotion whatsoever. It was a medley album of soul covers, running just a little more than half an hour. Two covers exist of the album, one crediting her backing group La Mama, and one solely crediting her. I have expanded the album by including the full version of River Deep, Mountain High (a single Aside) and adding the Bside You re A Strong Man, Red Light, her 1983 single Let s Move Aerobic, and a 1994 remix of Funky Fingers. Madeleine Davis Patricia Shockley of La Mama kept doing session work for producer Frank Farian while Precious Wilson herself signed with UK label Jive Records in 1985, releasing a selftitled album a year later along with a handful of singles. 00:00 A1.
