Isle of Arran, Scotland. Title: WONDERFUL WESTERN ISLANDERS. Remote from civilisation, unique in custom, these hardy Arran islanders eke out an existence from barren and rockbound soil. Intertitle: Having no harbour, the islanders drive their stock into the sea, hold them by ropes to the frail curraghs, and swim them out to the steamer.
