This song was inspired by the book Veronica decides to die. In the book the protagonist Veronica, who lives in Slovenia, is so bored with her life she decides to overdose on sleeping pills (hence the first two lines of the song). She doesn t kill herself though, and ends up in a mental hospital, where she finds out she has a week to live.
