Armenias Transgendered Community

Nazik Armenakyan documents young men and women of Armenia s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered community, focusing on transgendered sex workers. Many of the people she photographs are young adults disowned by their families, forced to move to the capital city where they attempt to maintain their lives and forge new relationships.
