Last week we set the EV Cannonball Record TWICE After Ryan and his cousin, Will Wood set the record at 42:52, and because Will had to get back to work in Las Vegas, Ryan called up Josh Allan to help with the drive back. So, equipped with Waze and the knowledge from The Kilowatts previous runs, Ryan and Josh pushed the rented 2021 Long Range Model S just a little bit harder and were able to shave an additional 30 minutes off of the record Ryan and Will had secured earlier that week The car was essentially stock running on Tesla s OEM 19 Tempest wheels with no modifications except we did over pressurize the tires slightly from 40psi to 47psi for the drive back.
