Can you run big games off an sd card alright ( Steam deck)

I m running this through a USB 2. 0 port in the front of my pc with two adapters. The USB port is plugged into my mobo with a cable that goes to the back. A worse scenario than a hardwired highspeed sd card slot soldered to the motherboard or plugged into it. So far so good for me. I am using a 128Gb Sandisk extreme. Unfortunately cod doesn t fit on it. Lol. Obviously, this is running off a more powerful gaming pc than the steam deck. However, I think you ll be fine with an sd card.
