Nikolai Lugansky, Dmitri Shishkin, Pierre Laurent Aimard, Daniil Sayamov at Mariinsky Piano Festival

From 6 to 26 May the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre hosted the second stage of the XV Mariinsky International Piano Festival. This, fourth issue of the video diary of the festival features: Nikolai Lugansky, who performed in his recital pieces by Beethoven and Rakhmaninov; Dmitri Shishkin: together with the Mariinsky orchestra under Valery Gergiev he presented a very special composition Concerto for left hand by Kurt Leimer; PierreLaurent Aimard (French pianist renowned for interpretation of wide repertoire from Baroque to avantgarde), who performed Piano Concerto No. 2 by Johannes Brahms; Daniil Sayamov, having presented Piano Conerto No. 3 by the contemporary Russian composer Alexander Tchaikovsky.
