Brief shot of showgirls putting on their coats backstage; cut to a Dresser who shapes castings with a hammer and chisel. The Shingler controls a giant hammer that beats out red hot metal. The Pullup Boy opens the furnace door for white hot bars to be taken to the Roughers, who pull the metal through rollers. The Puncher punches rivet holes in metal sheets and the Holder Up holds up the heads of redhot rivets for the riveters. The Saw Doctor makes sure the saw is fit for work.
