El mito de Narciso Narcisa Hirsch, 2011
The myth of Narcissus Life is something dormant, a latency, which according to the time and space where it appears becomes visible as a there is always something that is left out, something that is not accomplished, there are always other possible lives which in ones imagination embrace a reality more vast, more perfect, a life consummated. This is why to film a life is difficult; to film ones own life is impossible. So the purpose of this autoimagobiography is to speak of this ambiguity, where what could have been is also the possibility of a reminiscence, where what was and what was not, can be remembered the same way, always mixing that which has been with that which is imagined. From the many images and the vast text to choose from, what was chosen in the present was unforeseen, chosen by chance and therefore the film is neither real nor unreal and in the editing what was left aside are only the many other films that could have been made.
