The Silence of Sound the new project by conductor Alondra de la Parra and clown Gabriela Muñoz
Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra and Mexican clown Gabriela Muñoz have joined forces to create a project for stage called The Silence of Sound, where classical music, performance and video art meet. The two artists conceptualized the piece, wrote the script and selected the music. We meet them at the rehearsals at the Teatre Mundial in La Bisbal dEmpordà, a town on the Costa Brava in the north of Spain. The Silence of Sound is a multidisciplinary performance for the eyes, ears and soul. The orchestra becomes an integral part of the story as it accompanies and guides a clown through her journey towards true fulfillment. The Silence of Sound tells a story that is as old as love itself, and thus a story that is unique and new every time it is told. It is a story of love and loss, of loneliness and happiness, of power and failure, of mercilessness and forgiveness, of war and peace. Join us at the rehearsals for the The Silence of Sound.
