Florida deputy saves baby s life after mom involved in crash with motorcyclist
A Florida deputy is being credited for saving the life of a sixmonthold after a deadly crash involving a motorcyclist on Feb. 8, 2024. The Charlotte County Sheriff s Office released details and dramatic body and dashcamera footage from the crash scene. Shortly after 7:30 p. m., Sgt. Dave Musgrove of the Charlotte County Sheriff s Office saw a motorcyclist speed past him at an estimated 100+ mph in Englewood. Seconds later, the sheriff s office says the motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of S. McCall Road and Regina Drive. The motorcyclist had been thrown from his bike and was wedged into the rear window on the driver s side of the Inside the car was a mother and two children, including an infant.
