The story of hitchhiker known as The Girl in the Box will have her story told in a new Lifetime movie. In May 1977, Colleen Stan, was 20 years old when she was picked up hitchhiking in California by a couple and kidnapped. Her abductor was a lumber mill worker, Cameron Hooker.
