How to paint Clouds and Sky in watercolor. In real time. Simple, easy and fun
This is the first of a series of Clouds and Sky tutorials. Perfect for beginners and seasoned artist alike. For larger paintings I simply use a bigger brush. There is no change in the technique. Paper: Arches 140lb hot press, Natural white. Paint: Winsor Newton: Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine, Sepia, Yellow Ochre Painting Skies Wetting the sky area is the most important part of a smooth application of paint. After saturating the sky area, I allow the paper to dry to a dull sheen. Then, wet it a second time. I don t apply paint until there is only a slight sheen and no pools of water. Once the sky area is ready l work quickly. Thank you for Watching Music:
