As voiceover introduces her act freeze frame unfreezes and act starts. Suzette is dressed as a waitress in a tearooms, cafe setting. She addresses camera cataloguing the trials and tribulations of being a waitress and tells of the bad day she has had, getting orders mixed up, then I tumbled with a loaded tray and cut me knee on the Welsh rabbit She had an argument with the manager who told her the customer is always right. She asked Is he right if he picks his teeth with a fork . The manager said yes and she said What s his tram ticket for . She talks about working in the catering business, tips, customers, courting couples, middleaged businessmen. She suddenly stops as she realises the manager is coming back and begins to clear tables.
