DIY string instrument and motorized bow

Quick demo of a homemade string and spring instrument, with two motorized circular bows (also nicknamed Handy Gurdies). Instrument body is a U shaped piece of steel, with a piece soldered at one end for the tuning keys. The bridge is made of aluminium which allows for nice bends. I recommend aluminium over steel for the whole body, it s lighter with a better resonance. Strings are probably out of tune but I don t care. More instruments and sound projects on my channel.
