Mike Mangini The Alien Live Drums w Click

The video of these isolated drums is Live from one of our EU2022 Concerts and contains a click track. I hear the click track live along with everyone and everything else. This is especially important for me to monitor all things that go with the video so I know it s on point. This performance is OK. I changed some things from the album version as I do each night and played things I liked more in other shows. This one probably ranks 1, 2 best with at least a dozen shows being better, but it had the best camera angle. It s really tough to exit a dressing room and start a show with this song. There are a lot of challenging balance shifts, body turns, arm raises, dynamics moves, and left, right switches. At the beginning of this clip, my mini snare strainer was left on from sound check.
