Judy Garland DYa Love Me Raw Footage
On October 16, 1945, Judy Garland prerecorded DYa Love Me for the biopic about composer Jerome Kern titled Till The Clouds Roll Garland was a guest star in the film, appearing as stage legend Marilyn Miller in two musical numbers, Look For The Silver Lining and Sunny, Who After rehearsing and filming the big production number Who Garland went into rehearsals and filming of the Sunny sequence which was a reimagining of Millers big stage success of the same name. Garlands last day of work on the film, November 7, 1945, was devoted to the ultimately deleted DYa Love Me number. DYa Love Me was intended to be a part of the circusthemed Sunny sequence, with the song Sunny segueing into DYa Love Me rather than into Who as in the final cut of the film. The silent footage survives. Warner Home Video presented an edited version of the sequence on the DVD, including the silent sections which would have had the dialogue and foley effects dubbed in later.
