I love studying Ancient Egypt, and I m so excited to share with you my experiments in recreating the clothing found throughout Ancient Egyptian artwork, in tomb paintings and on statues and figures. I have explored several variations of the women s dresses, as well as the men s loincloth and schenti and tunic. In this video, we will look at all of them and see how they work in real life Correction note: The image of Nut is actually of Isis (also known as Aset or Eset). I had taken my inspiration from images of Nut found in a book, as well as artwork in museums, and had accidentally inserted an Isis photo from online in its place The two look similar in depictions but can be distinguished by the symbolism above the head.
