Full title reads: Surbiton Goes Gay. Carnival procession in aid of new Hospital. Surbiton, Surrey. Fire engines and ambulances lead a parade through the streets of Surbiton to raise money for the Hospital. Various brightly decorated floats follow in the procession. Children taking part in a fancy dress competition walk along the crowd lined streets. The Queen of The Carnival is brought on a horse drawn carriage.
