What is Albaneses solution to the housing crisis He wont slow down the 400, 000 new immigrants arriving this year. He wont stop foreign investors snapping up property. He wont stop short term rentals. Instead, they will invest a maximum of 2. 5 billion over five years into a property market in Australia that is worth over 10 trillion dollars. A drop in a bucket is bigger than the 0. 025 this bill represents. If we want to fix housing in this country we have to cut red tape and stop the 400, 000 arrivals this year pushing up rental and house prices, not just create another layer of bureaucracy. Transcript:
