Gene Kelly, On Top of the World

REVAMPED VERSION Follow my blog My love for this man is beyond anything measurable. I love absolutely everything about him and then some. There was a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face every time he danced that you just don t see very often, and the passion and dedication he had to his craft is truly inspiring. He was the best dancer that ever was, or ever will, and I dare you to say otherwise. To which you will now probably say, what about Fred Astaire Granted, Fred Astaire was a terrific dancer, but there was something about Gene, I can t quite put my finger on it, that made him special. Gene was athletic and innovative and exuberant and playful and to think that he never wanted to become an actor, that he never LIKED acting. Thank God he did become an actor because
