The Jakarta, Indonesia native recently released his charttopping debut album on Motéma, the label of artists including Gregory Porter, Elio Villafranca, and Ginger Baker, to name just a few. His youth makes his technical ability and emotional and improvisational maturity almost startling, but this level of performance would earn the gig at any age.
