The Chinawiese (official name Blatterwiese) next to the Chinagarten in the heart of Zurich directly on Lake Zurich in Switzerland is a very popular public park for sunbathing, swimming in Lake Zurich and also for beach sports like badminton even though there is actually no real beach at the Chinawiese.
