IN FLAMES Vanishing Light ( Full Cover)

This is the first in a series of In Flames covers that I will be doing, starting with the album Come Clarity (2006) and working backwards to the mid 90 s classics. Not everything here is 100 album accurate, like always I try to stay close to the original while still doing some things in my own way. In Flames is the band that first got me into more extreme styles of metal back in 2004. They reshaped my view of what heavy music could be, and they re the main reason I listen to 80 of the heavier bands that I enjoy today. I thought I would celebrate this by doing a series of cover songs from their mid to earlycareer albums that had such a huge impression on me. I can t wait to get to Colony and Whoracle, my personal favorites, but albums like Come Clarity and Soundtrack To Your Escape were still special to me.
