January 2019. Shameless Jack Shepherd has said all along that Charlotte Brown was at the wheel when the boat flipped on the Thames. He even claimed this week from his bolthole in Georgia that this was an established fact. But a witness revealed she saw a lone figure peering into the water and heard the man yelling: Help me, help me, SOS She then heard the boat strike a pier. Last night Charlottes mother Roz Wickens said: This is evidence that Shepherd was on the boat after Charlotte went into the water. It means he was lying when he told police they were thrown in together. I believe that this witness saw Shepherd looking around anxiously to try to find Charlotte before he deliberately drove into the pier which caused his boat to turn over. Im convinced he staged the crash so he could pretend hed been thrown out at the same time as Charlotte and deflect blame from himself. She went on: Charlotte might have survived if she had been found earlier, but he left her for dead. Throw the Book at him.
