It was Fats day off from a long (fiveweek) European tour and he flew to Rome with some of his band members (Herb Hardesty, Fred Kemp, Lee Allen, Jimmy Moliere and Ervin Charles a. o. ) to play an allstar concert to raise money to vaccinate African children for UNICEF. Fats, wearing a pink sport coat and white trousers performs I m Ready and Blueberry Hill to feature on the DVD. What s not in it (and that s a real shame ) are The Fat Man, My Girl Josephine and I m In Love Again.
