Whirling Grace (1929)
A novel dance is presented by Renee Lemoine and Danny Fer of Playtime at the Piccadilly cabaret. This is a dance where Renee swirls around and around with a large skirt flowing all around her. Danny has a cloak which he also swirls around. Slowed, the flowing skirt and cloak form graceful We see the dance in slow motion very graceful. They then perform a dramatic Tango. The Tango includes lifts, spins and swirls. Renee s dress is white on top with a dark lining which adds to the dramatic effect. The dance ends with Renee doing the splits and a grand flourish. We then see more dancing in slow motion with the skirt and cloak swirling. Was an item in Eve s Film Review issue number 397. Two EP091 reels exist.
