Terminator 3: The Deterioration of the T 850 aka Arnold Schwarzenegger

Stan Winston and his team of artists FX wizards returned to an apocalyptic world for the movie Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), directed by Jonathan Mostow. For this installment in the franchise, the T850 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) again travels back in time to protect John (Nick Stahl), now an adult, and his future wife, Kate Brewster (Claire Danes) from termination by the TX (Kristanna Loken). As in The Terminator Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Schwarzenegger deteriorates throughout the film, revealing the metallic understructure beneath his organic flesh. To achieve this illusion, the SWS crew created a variety of stateoftheart makeups puppets, which would occasionally be augmented with CGI to achieve even more extreme damage.
