Soyuz ST A launches CSG 1, CHEOPS, OPS SAT, Eye Sat ANGELS
Arianespace VS23 mission: a Soyuz STA launch vehicle launched the COSMOSkyMed Second Generation satellite (CSG1), the Characterising Exoplanet Satellite (CHEOPS), as well as OPSSAT, EyeSat and ANGELS cubesats, from the Soyuz Launch Complex (ELS) in Sinnamary, French Guiana, on 18 December 2019, at 08:54:20 UTC (05:54:20 local time). The COSMOSkyMed Second Generation satellite is an Earth observation spacecraft launched for the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The Characterising Exoplanet Satellite (CHEOPS) is an ESA mission dedicated to studying bright, nearby stars that already are known to host exoplanets in order to make highprecision observations. OPSSAT and EyeSat are 3U CubeSats, while ANGELS is a 12U CubeSat. Credit: Arianespace Arianespace VS23 mission Soyuz STA launches CSG1, CHEOPS, OPSSAT, EyeSat ANGELS, SoyuzSTA, CHEOPS, VS23
