A man is seen rolling up large sheets of leather, then he takes a roll to a cutting machine, spreads it over the cutting board and cuts out numerous oblong panels from it. A large pile of panels is placed before an elderly man, 70yearold Joe Kidd sitting astride a wooden bench.
