Big Rig trip over The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel
каналь Jim s TruckNTech 30 мая 2011г. This is a video of me driving from Dover, DE. to Norfolk, VA. I went across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The actual travel distance over water is about 17 miles, plus 2 trips through tunnels that are a mile long. I am not a big fan of going through tunnels that have traffic flowing in both directions, but it saves you 98 miles going this way. The view while going over the water is awesome. You feel like you are offshore, more than going from one side of the bay to the other. During stormy weather, crossing this bridge can be a pretty scarey ride. Water splashing over the side rails, and high winds make you feel like you are in a boat, not a car or truck.
