Has the World Become a Safer Place Under Trumps Presidency

Donald Trump loves to be under the spotlight. Therefore he loves controversy. Trump is impulsive and does not know enough about politics and international relations. The problem is that he is the president of the United States, and his decisions have harmful effects on many people throughout the world. His incompetence plus a hawkish team, have caused so much chaos in the world. Regarding the West Asia region, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal and applying maximum pressure campaign, which includes military provocations, has made the already volatile area less safe and on the verge of a direct military confrontation. Despite all the noise and hawkish behavior, many believe under Trump s presidency, the US policies, especially its foreign policy, have not undergone fundamental changes. Isn t it the time for governments in the West Asia region to negotiate for a comprehensive agreement to provide the security of the region without the interference of foreign countries
