Building and Testing a Canoe

Back in June, I was visiting a good friend Oli in Devon. During my time, I was fortunate to see how this beautiful canoe was built by David (Oli s dad) and test it along the river Dart. David talks about the stages of building your own canoe from scratch, creating this great form of travel from ply wood and Ash. The 16ft canoe has now just been built after 7 gradual years. This is something great to do if you enjoy woodworking, crafting things from scratch and canoeing. It can take however long depending on your schedule and the time, patience you have. It was amazing to chat with David and I personally feel very inspired by this awesome project. I hope you do too and enjoy the video :)
