The BBC has set diversity targets to have 25 of employees from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. The target was announced in the corporations annual plan for 2022, 23 and accompanies news that the BBC is rebranding some of its local offerings and expanding overseas in a bid to boost commercial operations.
