Medieval grappling from the Academy of Arms. This is a dress rehearsal filmed during preparation for a public exhibition. The routines were still unpolished at this point but acceptable for entertainment purposes. The combat techniques are from Kunst des Fechtens, a fighting art from medieval Germany. In period, the term for grappling was ringen.
