The Runner (1924)

A study of C. W. Hart the veteran long distance runner and record holder. Mr Hart is 59. We see him in C, U. M, S of Mr Hart running on the spot. He then runs off. L, S of Mr Hart running towards the camera. We see his stride in slow motion. Various shots of him running. Viewers are advised to use a bottle to drink from rather than a glass to avoid spillage. A man dressed as a waiter runs alongside Mr Hart as he runs and hands him a bottle. Note: see Rhythmic Running as the end of this story is spliced on to that story.
