The legendary festival celebrated its first edition at Berlin s Tempelhof Airport on 12 and 13 September 2015. Instantly positioning itself in the European premier league of innercity festivals, Lolla Berlin had been sold out long before its 2015 premiere took off with 45, 000 visitors a day. Alongside highcalibre national and international acts, Lollapalooza boasted a thrilling lineup. With Kidzapalooza, youngsters and kids took over their own festival within a festival, while Der Grüne Kiez (green neighbourhood) promoted issues revolving around sustainability and social commitment.
