Rare Casey Kasem Interview Beverly Hills High 1981

This is an extremely rare interview that I did with the late and extremely talented Casey Kasem in approx 1981 at the TV studios of Beverly Hills High School. Casey was kind enough to agree to come down to my high school after much gentle pestering by me over a period of months (he was working as I recall doing voiceovers at NBC along with his famous AT 40 show). Casey truly opened up during the interview, and went over many long forgotten morsels of his TV and radio beginnings and his influences in the industry. My own interview skills were (admittedly) a bit rough (I was only 16 years old), but Casey didn t seem to care a bit and made every effort to peel back the layers of his take on the business and his opinions. As many know, Casey almost never granted any interviews during his long and amazing career.
