The parabatai bond is a thing that I always hated. Like it s a forced friendship. Everyone keep saying that it s a bond between two souls and they choose each other by themselves, and I love Jace s and Alec s brother s bond, but It s shown really bad in books. Clary and Isabelle became friends really fast, but they always showed how much the care about each other. And in books Simon became Clary s parabatai. But in the show she wanted to be always connected with Izzy, and that what I loved.
