L, S s of smoke billowing out from boxes at the bow of the ship; the narrator says that this is the ship s best form of defence as the fog like smoke helps to seal the gap between the funnel smoke and the Various shots (including good slow motion footage) of torpedoes being launched from the ship into the sea. The narrator informs us that after practising firing torpedoes the ship turns and follows them in an attempt to recover them as they each cost 2000 pounds.
