Elton John Madness (1978) With Lyrics

From Elton John s 1978 album A Single On this album he did not work with his longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. Instead he wrote with lyricist Gary Osborne. The method here was very different than it was with Taupin, which was lyrics first then Elton adding music. On this album Elton began the songs, usually writing a fair amount of lyrics himself, and then Osborne would finish off the song with complete lyrics.
