Cineviews In Brief No. 65 (1938)
Titles read: CINEVIEWS IN BRIEF. Various locations of events. In Brunn, capital of Moravia, we see a cemetery for birds, with several tiny gravestones with bird names such as Lumpi and Gaby written on them. Two little girls come into the cemetery and put a dead pet bird in a little bag. C, U of one of the girls crying. They put the bag in a tiny hollow in the ground, pile the earth back on it and lower a gravestone over it. Flowers are placed on the top. Other weepy children are seen in the cemetery. Near Brunn, we see some antique musical boxes. The Manopam, which looks like a windup organ and plays music from a roll, sounds a bit like an accordion. The Polyfon plays from a circular music roll and sounds like a tinkly music box. An ancient music box plays tinkling music as we see the cylindrical music roll turning round.
